A Texas tradition continues

I will let coach Mack Brown say it:
"When you're at a university like The University of Texas, which has the longest streak of having a player drafted every year in NFL history (68 years), and then to look at the number of draft choices, specifically first round picks over the last eight drafts, it shows our guys are doing a good job with evaluation.”
That’s Coach Brown talking about our players once again being taken up by NFL teams. Now if we could only parlay some of that NFL talent into a national championship (hope springs eternal). I project that Vince Young will be a Heisman candidate this year (though that’s not always the best thing- see Jason White's draft status or lack thereof).

Strange sensation

K so now there is hype re the Hasidic Jew that is singing reggae, I will say good for him doing his thing. BUT, I think peeps should hold off on anointing him the next reggae superstar. Here are a few things: a lot of the hype is based on the fact that he is a Hasidic Jew (when was the last time you saw a Hasidic Jew singing anything much less reggae); he is a white guy doing Reggae; don’t forget DJ Snow; there is a serious hype machine behind him.; half the peeps listening to Matisyahu (that’s the Artist’s name by the way) can’t understand a damn thing, but there peeps have told them that it is cool.

My new favorite show!

Has got to be Jose Luis sin censura: This show is the Mexican version of Jerry Springer with a bonus: they actually let the peeps fight for a little bit before the security ‘jumps’ in. And as an added bonus, audience members jump into the fights or initiate fights. The last episode I watched an audience member attacked 3 separate guests. This show is definitely helping my Spanish: if I ever decide to cheat on my wife with her cousin and then find out that she was actually secretly hoping that I would leave her for another woman, I will be able to tell her my decision in 2 languages.

If Bush can't afford a burger...?

So during a photo-op moment in South Carolina at a burger joint the president was purchasing lunch for his entourage and the bill came to around $63.20 (versions differ as to exact amount) however in the photo shots and video the president is seen holding what appears to be two $20 bills. Realizing the problem he calls an aide over to help him on the shortfall. Which of course led to countless jokes: if he can’t afford to buy lunch how can he feed the nation etc…but seriously though, you would think for a photo-op you would carry at least more than $40 when trying to get lunch for the entourage!

JonBenet/Psychics and OJ

Aite so registration is finally over, I hope y’all got the classes you wanted unless of course by doing so you pushed me unto a wait-list. So I have taken to watching Court TV when I get home from Evidence (I don’t really know why this started – guess the class just naturally led me to that channel). So I saw this Court TV promo that says that they have new evidence in the JonBenet Ramsey case (by the way – I thought this case was dead and over with but guess until someone is finally pinned, every few years this case will always be available for someone to make a buck off of) and my roomie raised a great point, if there is evidence that as Ct TV claims can lead to the killer etc, shouldn’t the cops have this info and shouldn’t there already be an arrest rather than a promo for a Thursday night special. Then right after the JonBenet promo Ct TV had the audacity to run a promo about some psychic that they claim solves crimes and helps them solve murders etc. So they natural question that rose to my mind was: Well, damn if he is so good why don’t you use him to find JonBenet’s killer? Hell if this dude was so damn good, he should be out there helping OJ find the real killer/s. Seriously, since Ct TV owns their own psychic; why waste time with all this extra MJ trial coverage? He should just tell us what the result will be (I’m banking on celebrity status getting him off the charges) and then let Ct TV get the ultimate scoop.

Monkey for Arizona S.W.A.T. team!

I know I know you initially think I'm making this up (but google it I dare you). In Mesa, Arizona the police department is seeking $100,000 in federal grant money to purchase and train a capuchin monkey, which costs $15,000.

Capuchin monkeys have been trained to perform daily tasks, "such as serving food, opening and closing doors, turning lights on and off, retrieving objects and brushing hair." AP

The hope is that in a Kevlar vest with a video camera and two-way radio, the monkey would be able to get into places cops can not.

Mad Props to Lance Armstrong

So Lance has announced today that he is retiring from active competition after this year’s Tour de France. The man has been incredible, from a casual cyclist standpoint he has been a pretty good inspiration. I wear the yellow wristband out of support for his cause and because some close family members have had and pulled through cancer. Oh well his career had to come to an end and I hope he wins one last Tour de France even if it is just to sell a couple million more yellow wristbands. GO LANCE GO! (or whatever is the current catch phrase) Oh and I have to mention that his base is Austin, Texas: home of the LONGHORNS!

Did you know?

All students are given $6.00 for printouts in any of the Academic Technology computing labs each Fall semester.

Britney preggers!

So Britney is going to be a mom: the news came down a couple hours ago. No Josh unfortunately I don’t believe your Chapelle like statement (“I gotcha Bitch!”) – But if you really are the daddy MAD PROPS - hook a brother up. Though as I said to Tiff it would be hilarious and highly possible that, that kid comes out black!
"A lot of people think you should wait till you're older to have kids. I've had a career since I was 16, have traveled around the world and back, and even kissed Madonna! The only thing I haven't done is experience the closest thing to God, and that's having a baby. I can't wait!" Britney.
- I don’t know Britney there is the fact that you haven’t gone to college there is one thing that you haven’t done
- You haven’t made a decent album – there’s another one

MJ trial

Do you remember that old Rockwell song with MJ singing the hook “(I always feel like)
(Somebody's watching me)” Talk about eerie that he sang that song years ago with Rockwell adding lyrics like this “When I'm in the shower
I'm afraid to wash my hair
'Cause I might open my eyes
And find someone standing there” Now his maid is accusing him of taking showers with little boys. Hmm? I still feel that if Michael Jackson is convicted of sexual abuse with little kids, half of those parents should go to jail with him. Because I find it impossible to believe that these parents just saw patterns that they now claim they saw and just let their kids “play and sleep” with Michael…that’s bad parenting and appears to be a money grab. If the whole abuse scandal is true…poor kids, Bad parents + getting abused= terrible way to start your life.

Oh Martha, you kidder!

I love the Judge’s latest reply to Martha: Judge Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum, in a tersely worded three-page order, rejected a bid from Ms Stewart to go free early — or at least to be allowed to leave home more often for work.

“Home detention is imposed as an alternative to imprisonment. It is designed to be confining,” the judge wrote. “I see no reason to modify the sentence,” Cedarbaum added.
- “Martha had told the judge that serving the sentence would hamper production of her two upcoming television series — a daytime talk show and a new rendition of NBC’s The Apprentice.”

Come on McDonalds!

Thanks to D. Rah for this story…
One of McDonald’s new ad campaigns to target the youth: Has a young ‘hip looking’ young man thinking about a Double cheeseburger and the thoughts coming out of his hear are and I kid you not “Double Cheeseburger I’d hit it” with a lecherous smile on his face…just to clue in the not too hip I included the online definition for hit itFrom Urbandictionary.com 1. I'd Hit it Vernacular, commonly used by males, meaning, "I would like to have sexual relations with that female." "Wow, she's stacked! I'd hit it!"

John Bolton...

I love the fact that John Bolton the nominee to be the new U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Has said in the past:( “There’s no such thing as the United Nations,”…‘’If the U.N. secretary building in New York lost 10 stories, it wouldn’t make a bit of difference.'’…“many Republicans in Congress - and perhaps a majority - not only do not care about losing the General Assembly vote but actually see it as a ‘make my day’ outcome. Indeed, once the vote is lost, and the adverse consequences predicted by the U.N.’s supporters begin to occur, this will simply provide further evidence to many why nothing more should be paid to the U.N. system.” ) And this is the man now expected to help us with the UN?

Yet another example that people are essentially sheep:

Toyota's gasoline-electric hybrid Prius sedan has become such a hit that owners are listing their used models for sale at higher prices than for a new one. Mark Brueggemann, senior analyst for Kelley [Bluebook], recommends that buyers wait. "At $4,000 or $5,000 over sticker, you're really paying to be the first on your block to have one," he says.

Wisconsin considers whether to make cat hunting legal!

Residents in 72 counties were asked whether free-roaming cats - including any domestic cat that isn't under the owner's direct control or any cat without a collar - should be listed as an unprotected species. If listed as so, the cats could be hunted.
- If I may be permitted a moment of crudeness, my boys and I have been cat hunting for years.

Way to go Johnny Damon:

"Which is more important," the Red Sox center fielder was asked, "a wedding ring or a World Series ring?"
"The World Series ring," said Damon, who got married for the second time in the offseason. "You can always get a wedding ring, but a World Series ring is tough to obtain. It's tougher to get. Wives are a lot easier."

Women...

Cot damn: If a man truly ever figures out the mind of a woman and is able to articulately write it down and communicate it to the rest of us fellows: HE DESERVES THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE. That would cause more peace on earth than a dozen Geneva conventions or Middle East peace accords. At the same time we are not wholly innocent, because we as men often do things to infuriate the women and then feign ignorance as to the situation. But, it’s still always the woman’s fault. I mean after all if things were the way they should be we men would not be making you mad because you would have just agreed and submitted to our will. So there is a certain young lady that would kill me if she saw this but I have no fear for the morrow since she never reads my blog so I have a good chance of this sliding through.
- As to the women should submit thing (while it would be nice) it’s not truly my feelings (though some of my female readers [one in particular] will see the first part and ignore this disclaimer and attack me).
- Seriously though situations get shady so quickly when men and women argue: peeps feelings get hurt and things get imagined that are truly not happening.

Just let it out...

So I was at On Broadway last night for Jess’ birthday and though I still think that the club itself might be the most over rated club in SD the night itself was fun. Thanks to the homes for giving my boys and I some free Moet. Course up in the club there was the usual posturing and shoves to the side and guys in general on hair triggers looking for a fight. Now I usually scorn that, but it got me thinking: There is a kid in our law school that every-time I see him I stand there hoping that he will take a swing at me, because I just want to go nuts and stomp that fool. Granted I’m sure much of this bravado is due to the fact that the kid is shorter than I am, but a lot of it is a deep seated “I just want to punch that smug look off his face” kind of emotion. My boys and I were talking about what happens if any of us gets in a fight and how all of us would have to join in. To that end I gotta say thanks to my boys for always having my back and yall know that I always have yours. Course now that I’m on an emotional low and loaded with painkillers it’s probably best that at the next bar review I stick to water, because fighting him means I may have to take on his girl and damn…she tall.

Jane Fonda - it's just not right!

[``The image of Jane Fonda, `Barbarella,' Henry Fonda's daughter . . . sitting on an enemy aircraft gun was a betrayal . . . the largest lapse of judgment that I can even imagine,'' Jane Fonda on 60 minutes.] Really Jane? Consorting with the enemy, going against your own government even posing for pictures on an anti-aircraft gun a gun that was used to try and shoot down your own country men that was a “lapse of judgment”? Nah, I think that was more like treason. Strange that now that your new book needs promotion you have seen the light – that’s disgusting. Anyone is free to protest against a war, but to actively go to the war torn region and basically become a major propaganda piece for your country’s enemy cannot be condoned. If the North Vietnamese had held on to you as a captive you would have been hella pissed if the government didn’t try to get your ass out of Vietnam. So now you say that your trip was a peace keeping mission etc etc, but come on. You were a celebrity; you had to have known what kind of image you would create. And the new claim that you did not intend to be on the anti-aircraft gun does not ring true, in all those pics and videos you are smiling your head off, not the image of someone who does not want to be somewhere. You were Henry Fonda’s daughter you were a star in your own right you knew the limelight, you knew how to work the press, I find it difficult to believe that you were tricked in anyway. It seems more likely that you were caught up in thinking you could do anything at the time (“The road to hell is paved with good intentions”) and maybe you thought you really were helping the troops, but your brand of help if carried out by regular people would almost certainly have caused a trial for treason: not necessarily a conviction, but at least a sincere attempt at getting you for it. Note however, I do not believe you meant to be a traitor, nor do I believe that you should then or now have been tried for treason (though others were charged for much less [look up Tokyo Rose if you want info on how easily a treason conviction can be achieved]), but damn I would have preferred a much more sincere apology and not apologies that are always sandwiched with a grab for attention and the usual addition that you were framed blah blah ad nausea. Damn it woman fess up: You messed up. Though gotta give you some props some of those explanations that you give are pretty smooth – amazing what you can come up with when you take 30 years to explain it!

Some quick bullet points
- She declared that American POWs were being treated humanely
- Condemned U.S. soldiers as "war criminals"
- Denounced U.S. soldiers as liars for claiming they had been tortured
- An email has circulated for years accusing her of this: As she toured a POW facility, POWs gave her slips of paper with their SSN on them hoping she would take it to the outside world but once the camera stopped rolling she handed over the papers to the officer in charge and the men were savagely beaten. Those named in the inflammatory e-mail categorically deny the events they supposedly were part of. "It's a figment of somebody's imagination," says Ret. Col. Larry Carrigan, one of the servicemen mentioned in the 'slips of paper' incident.
- The last time that she offered a public apology of any sort was in 1988 when a movie she was working on was being disrupted by Vietnam vets: hmm coincidence that once again there is a public apology?
- she publicly thanked the Soviets for providing assistance to the North Vietnamese
- In her new book she describes the act of purging as “somewhat orgasmic” [so not about the war – but thought it very interesting]
I make no claims as to whether the Vietnam War was right or wrong, but Jane Fonda’s actions during the war were plainly wrong.

Happy Birthday Jessica

This saturday we are all celebrating Jess' birthday at On Broadway. Jess will guestlist anyone that can get in touch with her ASAP. You can reach her via email or her cell. Come on everyone and lets celebrate the birthday of a great girl. Oh and If I am not mistaken it is the one year anniversary of the law school's favorite twins.

Pope's funeral

Wow the pope’s funeral is impressive (ok so I know that one comes in under the duh category of statements) but its 3am and I have CNN on in the background and just watching the faces of people as they sit in awe of the man who has past and the pomp and circumstance of the situation it strikes me as impressive. It’s also probably because of all the frenzied pope bloging why the blog upload website has crashed.

Alcohol and vicodin!

So maybe its not the best combination. However, when in pain the thought that you just had a few alcoholic drinks earlier in the evening does not stop the hand from grabbing the bag with the pills.

Has Tom Delay lost his mind?

"House Majority Leader Tom DeLay of Texas suggested an impeachment case could be made against judges who rebuffed Congress' will." WHAT? Are you serious? Everytime an INDEPENDENT branch of government does what it is constitutionally required to do the judges would have to fear impeachment. I am saddened that this man represents Texas. Thing is when election time comes around will people remember what occured...?

Woo hoo VICODIN

How is that I had never tried vicodin until now. Man this stuff should be sold alongside packets of gum and beside cigarettes (yeah yeah I know addictive but so is caffeine and alcohol and nicotine): It cant be anymore harmful than that stuff. I gotta go now...My laptop is floating infront of me...yeah.

The joy of faulty memory!

NKOTB, Backstreet, The Spice girls, Vanilla Ice, Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, Disco (every artist) N’SYNC: What do all these have in common? They are all groups that were massive back in the day and now so many people pretend as if they didn’t exist or that they never listened to them. I have been doing some blog reading around the web and a recent topic that is popular are crappy music groups and has beens etc. One blog was practically dedicated to Gerardo of ‘Rico Suave’ fame (“My only addiction has to do with the female species”)People always tend to deny things later that now appear to be not cool. I remember a lot of my friends rocking to school with the NKOTB lunch box. And while working at the arena I remember seeing tones of college age girls streaming in for the N’SYNC show. If you used to be a fan of such groups don’t front now like your so superior to the kids now screaming for Hillary Duff or whichever teeny bopper is hot right now, and don’t be ashamed to sometimes in the middle of USD’s overly quiet law library bust out with:
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Listen up everybody if you wanna take a chance.
Just get on the floor and do the New Kids' dance.
Don't worry 'bout nothing 'cause it won't take long.
We're gonna put you in a trance with a funky song, 'cause you gotta be
Hangin' tough, hangin' tough, hangin' tough.
We're rough
.

And don’t forget to do the little grab your pants and side to side shake with your legs.
If there is any group that should be on this list and I forgot them be sure to remind me. I love reminiscing about old groups.

Ah...

Seriously...

How bad has it gotten for desperate men? Now you can text message and get phone sex via texts? Come on how lame is that? I mean most likely when you call a phone sex line thinking your getting some young sexy girl you are probably talking to an ancient hag who has a nice voice. But via text? For all you know some dude fresh out of prison is answering your text..."Oh baby your making me so hot" has no gender when it's in a text message. Oh well to each his own. If you saw sportscenter tonight you saw the NC fans celebrating their win by jumping over a bonfire: It was hilarious watching two dudes jump at the same time smack into each other and one dude practically falls in the fire, I love watching those moments.

Johnny Cochran has died.

R.I.P. Johnny C. The lawyer who uttered the classic line "If it doesn't fit, you must acquit," during the OJ trial died today of an inoperable brain tumor. Say what you want about the OJ trial but Johnny C did what he was hired to do. As Chris Rock said peeps might say you look guilty if you hire Cochran but at least you will look guilty and be free rather than innocent and in jail.

No wonder...

The ringtone industry is such a big business, I just created my first ringtone, but sadly I am unsure if I can use it because of the difficulty of transferring it to my phone. Just creating the tone was a hassle (so hard to edit a lil John song to exclude lil John) and now findng a delivery system to get it to the phone is just as difficult. Of course if anyone knows RELIABLE software to deliver ringtones to a cellphone I would love the info.

Is the church correct?

I am saddened: I would never presume to tell another religion how its church should be run: but I will admit that today I am saddened by the decision of the San Diego Catholic diocese to prevent the family of the owner of club montage (McCusker) from having funeral services at the Immaculata Catholic Church on the University of San Diego campus, McCusker's alma mater. "His business is adult entertainment, which is inconsistent with Catholic teaching," Chancellor Rodrigo Valdivia said. McCusker owned Club Montage and ReBar both gay bars.

My thing is that this was a man who was a devout catholic, his family is very active in the church and his mom was even a teacher in the church, it seems so wrong to deny a funeral service to someone based on an inclination to view their business practice as wrong due to sexual orientation. The church is about forgiveness and vengeance is God’s here it seems like there is no forgiveness or openness.

As was pointed out in an AP article: In other cases across the country, some priests accused of sexual abuse have been granted Catholic funeral services, including John Geoghan, the Boston Archdiocese former priest whose sex-abuse case helped spark a nationwide church scandal. (Associated Press)

This decision by the church seems wrong and I am saddened that USD has been dragged into such an issue.

St Paddy's

So last night was St Paddy’s day aka the day I can wear the ugliest piece of green apparel I can find and have peeps think its cool. Some of the outfits last night were straight FUGLY. Others were as hookerish as you can get and not be hauled straight to jail for Northern exposure and yet I loved every minute of it. There is nothing like cheap Guinness (I still maintain that it’s a meal in a can) and watching peeps go nuts over green beer (its no diff from regular in taste – just mental effect). So last night I was amused to see a young lady jump up and start to dance on a pole in the bar (this has happened every St. Paddy’s that I can remember) however as soon as she got on the pole I noticed another young lady staring at her and I just knew she was going to at some point jump up and try to compete with her and proving my faith in human nature correct she did.

Of course her addition to the pole initially infuriates the first pole rider and now there is fiercer grinding on the pole as we all gather in a circle to watch. Then some dude jumps up and commits the cardinal sin, he tries to join 2 girls riding a pole: That never works and all it ever does is bring bouncers over to break up the fun and again it did so. Come on guys don’t interrupt, Girls will never quit the pole to grind with you, and no one in the club cares to see you up there.

"Spring Break shark Attack"

Come on CBS I thought you were supposed to be the stately network, the one we could trust to not slip to low levels: And then you slip to something as low and as cheesy as a made for tv called "Spring Break Shark attack". So you not only blatantly rip off Jaws but at the same time try to get the girls gone wild type of mentality mixed in. One of the previews has a guy asking a girl if she wants to be on video and she smiles and flashes him…her swimsuit from beneath her t-shirt. Whoa, slow down their CBS, grandpa’s pacemaker can only work so hard.

A computer in a shoe?

So there is now a computerized shoe: I remember as a kid watching “Get Smart” on Nick at night and cracking up because of the shoe phone. But now, we are well on our way to turning our lives into completely controlled by computers: The Adidas 1 uses a sensor, a microprocessor and a motorized cable system to automatically adjust the shoes' cushioning. The sensor under the heel measures compression and decides whether the shoe is too soft or firm. That information is sent to the microprocessor and, while the shoe is in the air, the cable adjusts the heel cushion. The whole system weighs less than 40 grams. The shoe comes with replaceable lithium batteries that are estimated to be good for 100 hours of running. The shoe can be turned off and used as regular sneakers (to preserve battery life). The chip also shuts itself off, keeping the same cushioning, if a runner walks more than 10 minutes. Since runners tend to replace shoes at the 500 mile mark – at $250 these Adidas would basically cost 50 cents per mile but Adidas claims that the cushioning will outlast traditional shoes.

What happened to the good old days of canvas shoes? Chuck Taylor’s used to rule the world.

Violence hits home

This is a prayer request: I know some of my readers do not believe in the Christian God, but whatever entity you believe in I would like for you to offer up a prayer for my friend Mr. Riley. He has been a friend of my family from before I was born. He has helped me so many times in life and he is very dear to my heart. This morning he was shot in a robbery attempt outside his home in Jamaica. At point blank range the thieves fired 3 shots at him and thank god they missed on 2 of the shots, the third made contact. He is however in stable-good condition and will recover (how well I do not know because its hard to get details from peeps while they are at hospitals) However, I would just ask that you all throw up a prayer for he and his family and also for the community as a whole. Sadly young men in Jamaica are no longer content with simple robbery, in so many cases they are shooting at their victims. God help us all.

Sell, sell, sell like a Disco Inferno!

So the beef with 50 cent and the game is over? Just like that? If it wasn't for the fact that one of the Game's homies took a shot in the leg I would be a 100% certain that this feud was designed to hype the release of 50s album: after all the controversy did help him to sell a million records in 5 days.(that is bloody impressive) Course taking a shot in the leg might have been by design? Hmmm oh well, I am not one for conspiracy creation just exposure. I do like the fact that both Game and 50 gave checks in excess of a $100,000 to community groups (throwing the beef aside) I love it when peeps give back to help the community that they have come up from.

Wow: Let's take it to the streets?

Of course now that I am in politics I have got to be a decent fair minded citizen and I cannot call people out. However, I am in a somewhat foul mood. There is now a website that is anti the calijamaican. Hahahah the horror of it all. The funny thing is that my boy Dan K and I had recently talked about the possibility of someone creating an anti-me website and then we dismissed it because we believed (wrongly) that for someone to have an anti-X website they would have to be popular enough to cause that anti-sentiment. Oh well! Of course my initial visceral reaction was damn you bastards come meet me in the writs we can settle this, but then I calmed down and realized that people who make ignorant statements should be left to their own devices. If anyone wants to come to me and find out the truth of what the SBA president does or will do, come to me, you know where the writs is just like I will never back down from speaking my heart, I wont back down from telling you where to go. Grow some stones; if your going to go after me put your name on the site or come and see me in person.

Risky?

So I have been warned that peeps who check my VOTEAAROND.BLOGSPOT.COM blog, link to this blog via my profile. I have been asked if I am not worried about the content on this page and frankly the answer is no! I am not running on a slate I’m not representing a political party, I have nothing to hide. I will continue to speak my mind; after all I do not say anything too outrageous or controversial. I was asked about my posting re the Vietnamese woman who went salad shooter on her man’s penis and flushed it down the toilet. (Let me once again reiterate that I do not believe in violence towards women) But come on, someone who tricks her man into sleeping with her, ties him up, chops off his penis and then FLUSHES it down the toilet is no longer human: so do the normal rules of decency really apply? After all flushing of a penis is not the act of a rational human being.

How to do a flyer?

So I am going over potential flyers to use for my campaign and it's a difficult process. I like humor in everything I do; yet at the same time I do not want peeps to think that I am not a serious candidate so how do I reconcile it. If I am completely cut and dry with my flyers then I am not being true to myself (though that would be politically savvy). Oh well guess I am just going to have to see how much the school lets me get away with. Remember yall VOTE OR DIE!

Nervous..Who me?

Tonight is the second round of the McLennon Moot Ct competition and surprisingly I have advanced to it, I also have Casino night to go to so this will be one fun night of gambling (first with my dignity in front of judges and then with fake money). Sadly in every round of McLennon I have gone up against friends, which is I guess cool and at the same time a little disheartening: I have realized that later on in life (if I am the type of lawyer who goes to court) I do not want opposing counsel to be a friend of mine: Cause in the court room setting I am not afraid to gut you like a fish, but afterwards I find it hard to look at you. Oh well it’s a business and it’s the life I chose.
---So everyone that I went up against has also advanced, and I take credit for that. Yes ME. I am the reason you have advanced, I am making all of you look good. My ineptitude and bored look while your talking just makes anything you do look so much better. So when all of y’all are big time rich lawyers kick a little something back down to the brother who helped to push you up there.
---- Strangely enough all my judges so far have been male, which is fine by me, because there is a female judge that is a part of this competition that I fear. She has the look of a fire eater: I am not into the male female competitive thing but let me be honest a woman that is stronger than me intimidates me: and before any of y’all start running lip; those of my fellow students who know her probably know that she is stronger than them too.

Sorry for the Absence of Blogs

So I have not been blogging much recently due to Moot ct and the fact that a laptop in my hand is a ticking time bomb. My brand new laptop died so that’s now in the shop, my backup laptop (thanks DUI) has now also died, and my friend’s laptop that I was using froze up on me. But I must thank God for having a warranty on my laptop cause the amount of money Toshiba claims will have to be put into that laptop…I would have had to sell a body part.

I dont know that Heifer!

So bar review was cool last night: entering the club was a bit of a mystery first one bouncer had to lead you around to another exit, then you were questioned re your school affiliation, you then had to ride an elevator to the next level where you were checked to see if you had the appropriate stamp before you were finally let into the club. But once in it was fun. A playmate finally showed up towards the end of the night and that outfit of hers was intriguing. So the night was going good for me, until I went to the bar to check on my tab and was told that some chic had been ordering Hennessy on my tab. Hennessy on my tab? Come on girl that’s cold. I drink Hennessy – you shouldn’t be drinking that on my tab; I don’t know you. Couldn’t you at least have ordered some simple rum and cokes? I love the fact that the bartender tried to convince me that I knew the girl and that I clearly told him to put her drinks on my tab. Snippet of the conversation between the Bartender (B) and myself (I)
B: “She was standing right beside you when you ordered your Hennessy”
I: “Who is she?”
B: “The girl that was with you – you know the one that you pointed at and said put all her drinks on my tab”
I: “Me?” “What are you talking about man? I didn’t put anyone on my tab” “Describe her to me”
B: “ She was uhmm, heavy set and uhmmm” (noting the pause and the bar tender holding his hand up to his chest wondering if he could say it I decided to help him out)
I: “Was she Black with big boobs?” (Instant look of relief on the bartenders face)
B: “Yes that was her”
I: “Man I don’t know that heifer! You need to take those drinks of my tab and we need to find this chic” “I only know one black girl in the club, and she is skinny”
Come on though girl how could you do that to a brother? Though I’m sure you figured the bartender for a sucker and figured that he would think the black girl, must be on the black guy’s tab. The poor bartender looked so embarrassed when he realized that I knew nothing of that chic and that he had been had. Oh well guess he will not assume from now on that all the black peeps in the club must be together.

Never hit a woman?

I have always said don’t hit a woman but with this trend of women chopping their men’s genitals I am beginning to wonder what’s up with that. In the latest episode a woman chopped of her man’s penis just because he wanted to end their one year relationship. ONE measly year. That’s not a reason to chop the package (there is never a reason to chop the package).
- Though I must admit the guy was a bit crazy; he tells his girl that he wants to end it, she gets mad and then, they agree to have sex…ok so it’s breakup sex right? WRONG! The man agreed to have his arms tied to a window handle above their bed. (come on dude she is pissed and about to have sex with you... you don’t think something is up?). The woman pulled out a kitchen knife and severed his penis (shocking – pissed off woman with control over a man that had to end well)
- But hold up it gets worse, not only did she chop the organ of but she then FLUSHED it down the toilet…come on girl that’s taking it too damn far. I can’t even imagine the shock and sorrow going through a man’s mind when he sees his girl take his penis up walk to the bathroom and then hears “flush”. At least she was ‘kind enough’ to take him to the hospital (least she could do) Luckily for the fellow he made it in, in time that they were able to dispatch sanitary workers to retrieve the penis from the pisser and reattach it. The guy’s name has not been released which makes sense cause, bad enough your known as they guy who got his willy chopped but your also known as the guy who had his willy flushed.
If I heard later on, that a Vietnamese woman was stabbed to death, I would not be shocked.

PJ party at bar review: How dare he?

So this week’s bar review is at Galileo 101, but with a twist; the same night that we are having our bar review the bar is having a Pajama party that will be hosted by a Playboy Playmate. Guess this is going to be another bar review that I get reprimanded for. Oh well! With a theme of “Bustier and Boxers” and the event put on by a promotion company called Erotica I expect to see some great scenes of debauchery, but shush and wink, wink we don’t want to get busted by the overly moral police! In all seriousness before someone gets it twisted, I did not know that the party was going to kick in this week, this place is one of the hottest new clubs in SD and I am just happy that we are able to get in. If anyone is offended by the idea that there might be sleepwear in the club – just stay home. Curl up with a book and listen to the rain that will probably be pounding your roof or go outside and have the pure rain from God wash away some of your self righteousness.

You have got to love the signs that you see when leaving Vegas

Happy Birthday Sandra!

I expect to see you get Borracha this weekend.

Face it: women can not do math or science?

Ah yes the spark of controversy, I love it. Now I am not supporting the comments because I believe that genetically we are all the same, I think inherent in all of us is the ability to do whatever subject we put our mind to. However, I deeply believe that very early in life we are set on paths that will determine what our propensities will be for; it may be as simple as the toys we play with but I think we all start with a blank slate and from then on things are etched into our conscience.
Anyway the thing that sparked my musing is the uproar over the comments of Harvard’s President: Lawrence Summers. In his comments he argues that “that intrinsic differences between the sexes, along with family pressure and employer demands, probably play a bigger role than cultural factors and discrimination in explaining why fewer women than men have top science jobs.”
“Summers said he was inclined to favor family pressure and biology as explanations over discrimination and social factors.” He did claim that he was only guessing (probably to try and soften the blow) and that he wanted to provoke – way to go.
I really just find it hard to believe that women are biologically inferior to men…intellectually.

The Real Valentines Day MASSACRE

- So I know you didn’t think you could accost me in the library like that and get away with it
- I had the moot ct brief to get done but now that is over let me vent.
- So let me get this straight: My team beat your team on Monday and we suck? I actually thought it was a great competitive game between two teams. I didn’t intend to diss your team at all. I enjoyed playing against you…granted prior to the game WE knew that we had to beat your team. I mean come on we are the No Talent Allstars we were not going to lose to the Pinkies. To say that we suck and that your team is ‘so much better than ours’ well that’s just plain RE-DICK-U-LUSS. So apart from the vengeance is mine feeling that I took into the game, I also took in an undefeated streak. (Granted that’s all of 3 games) Can I hide the fact that I took extra pleasure in beating your team? NO. Do I respect your team? YES. Let’s keep it real to give me all these reasons that your team lost: “we had errors”; “we didn’t hit like we normally do”; “my vagina was sore” Keep it real you lost when you lose to a team you shut up, you congratulate them and you move on swearing privately to get them the next time. Give our pitcher props, she did her job, hell she even had a 1-2-3 inning when we needed a stop. Don’t come whining to me that you should have won. Don’t tell me that our hits were based on errors: the errors were on your team suck it up. “There is no I in team [and there aint no we either]” Like Baby Cham seh “ Well if a fassy never like it SUCK YUH MUMMAH”

Valentines Day - Just say NO!

Valentines Day must be one of the worst things known to man kind. Often it causes depression in those recently broken up; a sense of longing in those who are lonely; anger in those who feel that they should be with someone; lust in others who troll the bars looking for the lonely and easy; resentment in those who spent hundred of dollars in the quest to prove their love; frustration in many trying to book restaurants and find the perfect gift; and fat wallets in the pockets of chocolatiers, candle makers, florists, restaurant owners, teddy bear makers and card providers. If it’s not obvious by now I have come to loathe this day, I know currently of 2 young ladies that I used to have conversations with that will be crying today (nothing to do with me) because of their sadness that is enhanced due to the ‘suckiness’ of their situation and the fact that this day just tends to shine a light brightly on relationships or the lack thereof. Lets try to remember as a society that you don’t need a special day and multiple expensive gifts to show someone that you care about them.

Hustler Bar: Oh relax uptight people!

What’s in a name? Apparently when it’s a name that is associated with a magazine of questionable taste it is a lot. Now I have not directly heard any complaints about our school having bar review at the bar but I have heard colloquially that some have questioned the choice. Well let me clear the air a bit. The bar is not owned by Larry Flint the bar does not push any nudity whether in print or in person. Our school has so often held itself out as progressive yet in so many ways we are as backward as the Deep South. There is nothing wrong with the bar the bar is like any other bar, somewhere that people can go and drink. No one will judge a law school by the quality of the bar that the students go to. Does this mean that the students who go to gay bars are bringing the school down, what about those who frequent biker bars? The school is a reflection of its people and their academics and social contribution; what the students do on their free time as long as they do not impress their views and morals or lack of morals on others is their own business. So to those who had a problem with the choice of bar – get over it, no one is forced to go to bar review and our school’s falling ranking is not caused by bar review: It is probably caused by students like you who find every opportunity to complain about what is wrong rather than trying to work with others to make things better.

Man of the House

A movie about Texas cheerleading = Instant classic. How can you go wrong with such a great premise? So in Jamaica we have this phrase called “Red eye” which means to be jealous or to covet things. So right yah now I am having a red eye moment because I have purchased a gift for a friend and I personally like it so much I am thinking of going right out and purchasing one for myself. The same damn thing, but something tells me that, that would not be good. Though I have been known in the past to purchase gifts in pairs; I am trying to curb that bad trait.

6 Tons of weed: Thats a mini USD party!

The Associated press is reporting that the feds found more than 6 tons of marijuana in a shipment of yams that came into Port Elizabeth from Jamaica. I don’t know whether to be proud that my country tried to send so much over or saddened that they were crazy enough to try and send in 6 tons!

Why are u singing!

So Will Smith has a new album coming out. I loved his old stuff like “Parents just don’t understand” and I liked the original “Men in Black” soundtrack, but not everything he puts out is musical genius. Also if you’re a fan of anything with substance or anything even slightly hard Will Smith is not for you. His new song is as lite as u can get and still be considered rapping; this is not to say that there is anything wrong with lighthearted rap, in fact I wish more rap music was like that.
- Why is it every rapper has to put out an album with them singing on at least one track?
On the subject of light hearted music: Why is Ashley Simpson still a star? Why is Britney Spears still newsworthy? How is it she has managed to not pose for Playboy yet? Why did she think she could re-make Bobby Brown’s my prerogative?
ONE MAJOR RULE of music should be if you do a remake or remix of a song, the remake should be at least as good as or better than the original or else leave it the hell alone. I don’t mind if u put your own little spin on the song but please don’t make the song worse than the original track was. Finally, just because your mommy or daddy was a hit singer does not mean that you have talent or can sing: Lisa Marie Presley and Kelly Osborne please put the microphones down and walk away. Just walk away and we will forget u ever tried.

Chinese New Year!

Its the year of the rooster!

It's "Woohoo take your top off!" Day

Otherwise known in more sedate circles as Mardi gras or Fat Tuesday. This should be an entertaining night downtown. Last year of course was famous for the fact that 3 young men on the hunt for a good time managed to see only one pair all night and it was a pair that we were not particularly eager to see. Its always fun to watch the bargaining that goes on: “What if I give u one green one and 2 blues?” I am also amused when a girl gets mad because a guy does not offer her beads large enough to satisfy her. If your going to flash anyway does the size of the beads really matter?

Check your classes

Now that I have heard the horror stories of 2 of my friends. Hey yall check online or go to the registrars office and make sure that your not in any classes that you dont know of.

Fear the Allstars!

So the softball team continues to show the rest of the league why we are the greatest. We are now 2-0 in division play and I am undefeated in softball play. BC hit a monster grand slam that definitely helped us to pull out the victory. Why do teams even bother to take the field against the “No Talent Allstars”? I mean we have a team blessed by miracles: after all, the fact that I am even able to make contact with the softball is a miracle and as long as I keep getting hits we are guaranteed to keep winning. And before someone jumps up and says that my hits don’t count; let me assure you the shock that the other team receives seeing me actually hit the ball allows my team mates to make it home.

Super Bowl

If I were forced to place a monetary bet I would place it on the Patriots. But since no one can force me to bet; I am going with the Eagles. This one is for you cousin: lets hope 'dat dem boyz can finally bring one home.' I hate Brady but you have to respect that kid, he does not lose. Watch for the T.O. touchdown miracle from D-Mac and then watch as the entire stands 'Drop down and get their eagle on'

Give Blood: join the Bone Marrow matching list!

It is a subject near and dear to me: Right now there is a tremendous blood shortage in San Diego. Please join the bone marrow list it could save someone's life. I just saw a report that multi racial canidates rarely find the needed match for bone marrow donations less than 30% of people find a match. Currently blacks and whites have the highest rates because of the number of volunteers, but it is still not enough. Please yall help save a life. If you need more info I am happy to talk to anyone about it.

Of Pudding wrestling and bar review:

I am biased, but I enjoyed tonight’s bar review. We made it a little swankier than normal and took it uptown. Sadly as usual LIT was conspicuous by its absence (yes I know u said don’t pick on you – but when u keep missing bar review…) So soon I may give up bar review (depending on some election results), so if any one is interested in becoming a part of the LIT promotions crew for next year hit me up with your info. The bonuses are like tonight; No cover and free drinks. Tonight our promotion allowed premium drinks so if you’re a Grey Goose, Hennessy and Courvoisier drinking type of person this may be the spot for you. So I was approached with some bar review requests and I have granted them so a few bar reviews will be hosted by the 1Ls. I am declaring now publicly and officially, I will help you to promote your bar review and I will attend but I am not taking the blame/credit for pudding wrestling. But I will tell you, it will be a big hit with many of the guys. And yes I think pudding is better than Jello ® for wrestling. Finally “you are my bitch”

Things I miss from vacation: here is a pic looking across to the area that I live in, in Jamaica
pic by soulman

Cruel and unusual punishment: Thats all I can say about the process of having all the poor nervous 1Ls line up to retrieve their grades. I heard shouts I heard dejected sighs. I saw smiles fade. It is a harsh process to watch and yet sadly I was somewhat sadistically amused. Because I remember last year at my place many of us huddling around a computer monitor nervous as hell that we would have bad news. It was at a pre bar review party: So I think a few peeps drank a little harder that night.
pic by soulman

Mind Numbing

So after spending a year in law skills learning about writing Appellate briefs and learning how to address the court and proper formats etc. I am now stuck in a lecture about everything I just learned last year. Did she really just ask us if we know that the Supreme Court is not bound by precedent? I can not even imagine how the third years can sit through this. This is cruel and unusual punishment to have a class of this nature on the day after a night of heavy drinking.

Anna Nicole

I had thought she was starting to look good again, but after seeing the last Trimspa © ad and remembering her actions at an award show I have to say: Damn! She is looking cracked out. Trimspa may or may not be helping her lose weight naturally, but I think it looks like it may be helping her to lose weight the crack head way. I mean come on if you had a doubt about her drug usage just listen to her talk recently; “Trimspa baby” and then make your own judgment. I hope she is not on drugs and that Trimspa is doing all this for her, but you make the call.

Happy Birthday

Happy B-day Jessica. Looking forward to many more!

Floyd Mayweather Jr.

May well be the best pound for pound fighter in the world right now
The kid is sick with his skills
In his last fight while the commentators were talking to each other about the upcoming NFL games the next day. Floyd turned and responded to the question that they were asking each other: “Who do you think will win the game Patriots or Steelers?” Mayweather turned and said “Patriots”
Then to be facetious the commentator during the next round while the fight was in progress asked him “Floyd who will win Eagles or Falcons” (Response) “I like Michael Vick”
How can you beat someone who is so in control of his craft? – he goes on to knock his opponent out by the way.

A Pregnancy prom dress?

- Now that is going too far. I have sent some of you the link and told others about it. I saw a picture of a prom dress with the middle cut out so that the young lady could have her belly hang out the front of the dress.
- Come on now that is just WRONG.
- I will not judge the girl for making the mistake of getting pregnant in high school because bad things happen; we make the best of situations and move on.
- But making the best of the situation is not and I repeat is not wearing a dress with your belly hanging out to the prom.

Radio love songs!

Ever notice that when you are going through a rough emotional period every song on the radio seems to be aimed at you, or have a message for you in there somewhere?

Whats up with all these invitations to join SMS networks? Is everyone now desperate to get in touch with everyone else and just have not found the ability to dial the # on the cell phone rather than punching the message out on the keypad?

Votes and drinks

So bar review was cool tonight: gotta love the fact that my Promotion company LIT promotions was conspicuous by their absence. Oh well I held down the fort and partied in PB…yes that Was me rocking out to the heavy metal band. Big ups to All the peeps that tried to buy me drinks I’m sure you preferred the free drink tickets that I gave you in place of having u buy me a drink. Big ups to Ryan and Tyler for the party it was great to have somewhere to go after bar review. Baybee you knew I couldn’t finish a blog w/o a mention of the fact that some people do like to Gobble up all the shrimp that they can get. To the 1L that asked If I hated her. The answer is NO. There is not enough time in life to go through it hating people. To my bartender tonight: I love you girl! You know that u have drunk too much when you Realize that the amount you have spent in tipping out the bartender for free drinks is more than you would have spent if you had bought premium drinks throughout the night. Oh well its prolly worth it, I have a good feeling that everyone I gave a free drink to will probably vote for me when (and yes its official) I run for SBA president. Seriously though Canes needs to Limit the amount of free drinks they make available to me. I reek of alcohol: isn’t that how every good night should end. By the way, if you are a reader of my site and dont like it, thats fine, KISS MY ASS you can quit reading anytime dont comment and tell me to get off the net when you obviously are a follower of the site.

Word of advice!

Not the first or last word I will give, but this one I am compelled to give. If you're a white guy in a hip hop club and your only backative is your girlfriend it is extremely unwise to call the 250lb black guy with his equally big friend a “nigger”. Especially not the angry buzzed black guy. I have not seen a man run that fast while still holding on to a girls hand in awhile. Those black guys looked like two freight trains and u thought all 170lbs or so of you could take ‘em? Did u really think that once the word got around the ‘black crowd’ that the club would be the spot for u to dance? Oh well your incident did serve to let me hear a fun line: Black guy with a neck bigger than a telephone; “ Man I’m the Philadelphia defense that white boy is a running back did you see him run? I’m Jeremiah Trotter, I eat them fools” Finally a couple of apologies and shout outs: To all those I laughed at for working with those big inflated exercise balls; My bad it's harder than it looks: To the September birthday bus crew I know its 5 months late but big ups to all; My bad on the delay: Finally to -?- yeh that really sucks "FU©K the POLICE" NWA.

First day of the rest of your life

Not a big fan of that slogan; maybe cause it seems so trite. After all it is also one day closer to death. So anyway, cognizant of the fact that I am getting older and need to take better care of myself I have rejoined the gym and have faithfully being going for all of 3 days. Sadly in those 3 days I have lost 5 pounds. (sadly because that shows how much water weight I had been rolling around with) Of course giving blood day 2 probably helped in the weight loss. So now it’s the first day of the rest of my life. I intend to get back to what I used to be: A fit energetic student, able to leap 2 books in a single bound and pass through a doorway without turning sideways. Seriously though the eye candy at the gym is crazy, but I have decided to follow a path of enlightenment when at the gym and just concentrate on the workout plus it’s not like I’m rolling to the gym accompanied by chopped liver, I carry my own eye candy with me, yes WB I just set back the cause of womanhood and called you eye-candy.

Bad boys bad boys!

I got pulled over by a cop tonight right infront of my apartment complex. Apparently I pulled out of USD and turned right on a red without stopping. Yes even at 11pm one should obey every minute detail of the traffic law. The ironic thing is that on my way into school I thought about sending to Texas for the car's title since registration renewal time is coming up and as luck would have it when the cop asked me for my registration I could not find it. Also since I had just gone to the gym and had only stopped by school to drop off a book I didnt have my driver's license but I had a photo copy of it that the gym had made for me and that was good enough for the cop (thanks 24 hour fitness and all your rules). Anyway after thinking that I would surely get a compounded ticket the cop laughs at the pic on my license (if you have ever seen the license u would know why - if you want to see it Im more than happy to produce the license for your enjoyment)runs my plates forgets that I cant find my registration tells me to be careful and sends me along on my merry way. Pretty nice of him, though I do wonder why a second cop car was called as backup?

"Pick up the phone!"

"Cause you want this call, you other brothers cant deny " Sir Mix-a-lot is back. Of course he’s back on the scene with a ring tone. So that damn jamster company has another ad to clog my TV time with. On my list of annoyances that one is up there right now (as well as all their damn cell phone ads), being unable to hold a pen easily is up there and that annoying horn that runs through the length of the J-lo song is definitely annoying. I wonder if it will grow on me like the squeaking sound in the Ciara song goodies (the background sound not her voice). So the team lost last night but that was because the star player was out with an injury. We will dominate next week after all it’s the lowly section C team. We will make them our bias. We will not lose to a team wearing pink, even if we have to take out some of the players with a Louisville slugger.

Softball Domination!

So the team's first game is tonight. Sadly I cant play because of the finger (though for the teams chances my injury is probably a good thing). Despite my forced benching I expect the team to dominate. After all how hard can a law school softball league be. We will put up at least 2 runs...go team go and all that good stuff. Hopefully we will play some weak 1L teams and crush those kids, or the team will just get wasted on the stuff contained in the waterboys secret stash.

Give Blood!

Hey if you can please give blood. The blood bank is low on supplies. I know some of you cant give blood but for the rest who can, its a quick relatively painless process and it can help to save a life. The red cross is just down the road from school. The dude who hosts Cheaters got stabbed during an episode: that is pretty damn funny. I always wondered if people who got caught on that show ever went nuts and went after the host/crew.

3 Xs/Bar Review and a WTF moment!

So the bar was hype the shortie’s outfit was tight: Yes I know I told u that but it really was. So on to the WTF moment that nearly made me reach for the tire iron. When I receive the call from you at 4am, and risk my life to show up by driving through bloody dense fog and slippery roads the last thing I want or expect is some dude that u have sworn to me is not your bf. To be real though bout time we had it out; But this goes for him and anyone else, if you want to kick my ass do not offer me a beer. I don’t mind getting in a fight but the pre beer ritual and the pretence of civility are too extraneous. By the way at 4am when u see me in a coat you would be right to assume that the pockets are not empty. I must say having someone hanging out on the top of the steps was a nice touch. Was that to make sure that I didn’t flip out and jump you? Word is bond broken/sprained (will know soon) fingers will not stop me from swinging on you – the presence of another dude 20 feet away will not stop me from swinging on you. Should we have had a fight you would have had to KILL ME; because if the 2 of you kicked my ass, rest assured that I would be back. A lot of the dudes in the law school went home with pent up energy and I’m sure that beating down an undergrad and a 1L would have been just another day at the office. What you should know is that I am not going to fight over some “bia” do I need to quote the Dr. Dre: “Bitches aint…but ho’s and tricks” I’m sure she is a nice girl blah, blah ad nausea but when u try to fight me over a girl that called me, I will mess u up. Hell I will get Jess to mess you up, she already swung on one girl tonight beating down another should be easy for her. Handle your business: She called me…always remember that no woman is worth fighting over, I wont start the war with you but I sure as hell will end it. If you cant control your girl others will.

Finally: damn baybee that was HOT 2nite, I want to see that again and I won the dare so I expect something in return.

Welcome Back!

So by now I figure everyone will be in or at least contemplating coming back in. I guess since I decided to chalk bar review info up on the black boards in what can only be described as chicken scratch here is the info: Friday at E-Street Alley $5 cover b4 11.30pm. Sorry we could not get a better deal, but they wanted $15 from us so this is the best we could get. What is great about being back is that you start to notice all these people that you have never seen before in your class. Robin pointed out a girl to me that is a certified hottie that I have never noticed before, and I thought between myself, G2 and B we would have spotted and conferred about every hot girl in school
 Now that I am back I was hoping I wouldn’t see anymore of those crappy cell phone wallpaper ads
 I really like that Masta Ace track “Good ole love” cop it if you haven’t gotten it yet
 Why is it that my Cal friends wont talk to me about a certain game that occurred on Dec 30th are we just going to pretend that, that did not happen. You owe me. Cowards!

Salute to Dr. King!

This is a day to celebrate a great man’s life: its so sad that even to this day there is still racial intolerance and prejudice. There is so much racism and reverse racism. I honestly wish that the USD book store was closed on a day like this but, I understand that law students would riot if they could not get their books the day before law school starts.

Law school of idiots?

I had no idea that law school could breed such idiocy and treachery. I was told by my friend about a blog created by some USD law school students and sadly it has got to be one of the worst things I have ever seen. It’s a blog that is bereft of intelligence and yet masquerades itself as fountain of knowledge. Now let’s be clear here, my blog is purely entertainment for me and any others that might choose to read it. I may drop some knowledge now and then but I am not trying to change the world etc. This blog I have just read called for the removal of the SBA now hey that’s a worthy goal to have and a call that anyone can make if there is a good reason but when I read the reasons given I realized that the ability to type does not equate the ability to reason. These idiots said the SBA should be removed because we lied about the Halloween party and blamed others. Supposedly we insulted the student body by sending a letter to them apologizing and detailing the faults of the party etc. I guess the fight and the subsequent police shutting down of the part was all a big lie on our part also. As to your claim that the only thing we do for the students is throw the party; I guess the grade change the new TV the interaction with the faculty are all figments of my imagination. As to my treachery charge: some of the members of that blog are actually employed by the SBA or work closely with the SBA. If you have such high morals etc be real and step down or voice your opinions at the OPEN to everyone SBA meetings.

Happy Birthday

Julie, Sorry I didnt get to see you.

What the ras...

I caan believe that at 5.30am I am just making my way home. Once again I must be losing my mind. Ole Madrid was pretty decent there were some decent girls there tonight but of course all I could manage to do was stare and think in my mind (actually for once I couldn’t even think of lines – to not say to the hotties) Poor Tiff was I think mad at the crew for not stepping to any girls oh well!. What is it about me and thinking about you girl why do I not feel the urge to go out and scheme, could I really be haunted by the ghost of “bootie-past”? I may have to face a new reality in my life; I possess the kiss of death. Oh well, to #1 I think you shouldn’t be with him it’s a waste of your time. To #2 you have made your choice, deal with it. To #3 what the hell are you thinking? Seriously if you don’t like the relationship get the hell out of there. To #4 no, no, no I refuse. General I am sorry to a lot of peeps a lot of what I said were just lines I apologize for my past indiscretions. Finally, if you call me at 3am that conversation does not come under the heading - friendly chat.

Cross...

Angry: So the Calijamaican has returned to California but apparently it was too difficult for Continental airlines to ensure that his luggage accompanied him. If anyone is hanging around an airport anywhere in america look out for 2 pieces just sitting around.

Calijamaican on the RADIO!/NET

So if you don’t know by now you're about to find out, my dad has a radio program; And this Wednesday the 5th I will actually be on that program along with 2 of my friends. The program starts 9pm Est. 6pm Cali time. I have no idea when I will be on, though it’s most likely in the 1st hour. It is a call in program, BUT; I probably wont be on the call in portion in fact (because I know what kind of friends I have and the threats I have received and the veiled insinuations) it would be best if I am not a part of the call in portion. I shudder to think what kind of stuff yall would call in and ask/say. Once again listen in on Wednesday at 9pm (8pm for the Texans) u will get to hear the Calijamaican (the son) next to the Trinijamaican (the father).
This is the website link if you would like to listen to live audio of my appearance http://www.go-jamaica.com/power/pp-dearpastor.html

WE DID IT YALL!

Hallelujah TEXAS WINS…. TEXAS WINS I LOVE THE WORLD AT THIS MOMENT. We gave you an exciting rose bowl and I love yall. My boy thought I was having a seizure I reacted so violently to the game. I would like to thank my parents for understanding my deranged screams and my boys for understanding that the fist pumping and death threats were all to the TV not to them. This moment is for everyone. WE’RE TEXAS “what happens here changes the world”

Happy New Year!

Or is it? I know Cal fans have got to be quiet finally...all that whining about the Rose Bowl and you got stomped by the #3 team in the Big 12 south. Oh well there is a knot in my stomach right now as I watch the Rose Bowl damn freshmen. I hate Freshmen catch the ball then RUN u fassy.

About Me

My photo
Cali-J ueber alles in der Welt. Some think that I am mean; (I call them friends), in fact I am not that mean. What I am is sarcastic and dry to the sandpaper level. I have friends that I have never said a kind word to their face, but I praise to the ends of the earth to anyone I know and will defend them to the end. That’s just how I roll! My boys know that I am down for them, my girls know that no matter what I will keep them safe (and occasionally flirt with them [If you are a female friend of mine and think I haven’t flirted with you it just means you didn’t notice, it was extremely subtle or…not yet ]). No one is safe from my sarcasm even my own parents; hence of course as a kid I spent a significant amount of time in punishment. I treat people with respect if I think they deserve it – everyone starts off with the same amount of respect from me (a lot). You don’t need to earn my respect; you have to keep my respect.
