Has Tom Delay lost his mind?
"House Majority Leader Tom DeLay of Texas suggested an impeachment case could be made against judges who rebuffed Congress' will." WHAT? Are you serious? Everytime an INDEPENDENT branch of government does what it is constitutionally required to do the judges would have to fear impeachment. I am saddened that this man represents Texas. Thing is when election time comes around will people remember what occured...?

About Me
- Cali J
- Cali-J ueber alles in der Welt. Some think that I am mean; (I call them friends), in fact I am not that mean. What I am is sarcastic and dry to the sandpaper level. I have friends that I have never said a kind word to their face, but I praise to the ends of the earth to anyone I know and will defend them to the end. That’s just how I roll! My boys know that I am down for them, my girls know that no matter what I will keep them safe (and occasionally flirt with them [If you are a female friend of mine and think I haven’t flirted with you it just means you didn’t notice, it was extremely subtle or…not yet ]). No one is safe from my sarcasm even my own parents; hence of course as a kid I spent a significant amount of time in punishment. I treat people with respect if I think they deserve it – everyone starts off with the same amount of respect from me (a lot). You don’t need to earn my respect; you have to keep my respect.

along those lines, why the fuck is the fact that delay used a PAC to funnel almost $500,000 to his wife and duaghter only getting press in Europe?
Wow how did I miss that? Almost have to give him props on his ability to find wiggle room.
Actually that story was in the New York Times two days ago, on the front page.
As for Texas representation, the President isn't doing all that well either. Recall that in 1999 Gov. Bush pushed for and signed the Advanced Directive Act into law. Among other things, this act allows doctors to remove feeding tubes from infants, despite the parent's wishes, if the doctors feel that continuing treatment would not be efficacious. How is it that he now believes that the court erred in allowing Terri Schiavo's tube to be removed? Is it only a bad thing when it involves his brother's political posturing? Wherever you stand on this particular issue, shouldn't you atleast be consistent in your "moral" positions?
Don't even get me started on high profile Texas business men! Do ethics and integrity just not exist in Texas?
