One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter?
HELL NO! Screw that…what those bastards did today in London is unconscionable. There is no fight that requires the slaughter of innocents. How do you prove that your cause is good and pure by killing people who have nothing to do with the promotion or prevention of your cause? Thousands in Britain have protested against the war in Iraq and then you go and bomb their city! I hope they find every single one of those perpetrators and flay them alive. Thank God that so few were killed! Hard to believe that the bombs in such high traffic areas only killed 37 people though sadly injured over 700.

About Me
- Cali J
- Cali-J ueber alles in der Welt. Some think that I am mean; (I call them friends), in fact I am not that mean. What I am is sarcastic and dry to the sandpaper level. I have friends that I have never said a kind word to their face, but I praise to the ends of the earth to anyone I know and will defend them to the end. That’s just how I roll! My boys know that I am down for them, my girls know that no matter what I will keep them safe (and occasionally flirt with them [If you are a female friend of mine and think I haven’t flirted with you it just means you didn’t notice, it was extremely subtle or…not yet ]). No one is safe from my sarcasm even my own parents; hence of course as a kid I spent a significant amount of time in punishment. I treat people with respect if I think they deserve it – everyone starts off with the same amount of respect from me (a lot). You don’t need to earn my respect; you have to keep my respect.

I agree that those responsible for the bombings in London are criminals plain and simple. However, I do believe that governments do categorize groups as terrorists when they truly are freedom fighters. There are many examples out there. You don't have to look very far.
Are you implying that it was Iraqis was responsible for the London bombing? What do protests against the war, have to do with the people responsible for these bombings? Unless you are going to group them together as just "Muslim terrorist people" and then, that is just sad..
It reminds me of what they have done to blacks for centuries... Anyway, I condemn bombings anywhere in the world whether it be London or Baghdad. A life is a life everywhere. And there are hundreds injured and killed in Iraq everyday....
Peace and Love.
No I am not saying it's Iraqis per se that did the bombing, but it is an Al Qaeda offshoot (they did actually claim responsibility and cited Britain's participation in the war as the reason). I am saying that by bombing a country from whom many people were sympathetic to your cause is irrational, unneccessary , disgusting and evil (and bombing innocent civilians of any country is evil). What it will serve to do is harden the hearts of the supporters of the war and it will also make many who were initially anti the offensive in Iraq, lust for the blood of Iraqis. How can you suddenly sling the "Unless you are going to group them together as just "Muslim terrorist people" and then, that is just sad.." no where in my post do I call them Muslim etc...Their religion has nothing to do with the act they carried out, so please let us not confuse the issue by bringing, their religion in or ethnicity, and lets save the race card for something a little more worhwhile than the discussion of some terrorist assholes. Sometimes we dont see the forest for the trees, Just because I condemned a particular bombing does not mean I do not value life elsewhere, but when shocked by a particularly heinous event one often is compelled to take note.
The count of the dead is at least 50 now and still going up.
Yeah and yet still people will look for all these other reasons other than the fact that what was done was the work of evil people.
Dude . . .
Where did Aaron imply anything? If you are offended by his post, perhaps you were looking for something to be offended by. There was a group calling itself the Secret Al Queda Group in Europe claiming responsibility for the bombings. What other assumption is there to be made? They openly admitted that this attack was in response to the involvement of Britain in the military actions in Iraq. I would suggest reading the post again. There was no condemnation of Muslims contained in it.
